The Honeybird is a weighted blanket that comes in three weights: 10, 15, and 20 lbs. You only have one size option. The blanket is throw-sized with dimensions of 51” x 75”. You can also choose to add the Honeybird duvet cover to your purchase. It has a soft knit top and a cooling cotton layer on the bottom. The Honeybird is a great weighted blanket for hot sleepers. Even with the duvet cover, it is quite breathable. Also, that cooling cotton really does feel cool against the skin. If you want something to use all year, the Honeybird weighted blanket should work for you. This weighted blanket has amazing weight distribution. It features diamond-patterned gridding stitching that holds the fill in place. These diamonds are smaller than some of the gridding you find on other weighted blankets. When you lie under the Honeybird, you should feel nice even weight across your body. The throw size is also great for those who want to cocoon themselves under their weighted blanket. The Honeybird fits the size of your body, not the size of your bed. Because of this, you get more concentrated weight on your body which should help you sleep even better. However, this might not be the best weighted blanket for larger people. It is always smart to find a weighted blanket that is around 10% of your body weight. For that reason, 20 lbs might not be heavy enough for those who are larger than 250 lbs. Second, the throw-size might not be large enough to cover bigger bodies. If you sleep with a partner or simply want a wider weighted blanket, the Honeybird probably won’t work for you. Again, it is designed to fit one body. It won’t be wide enough for couples or to fit anything larger than a Twin XL mattress. Finally, the Honeybird is not the most affordable weighted blanket on the market. It is currently priced around $165 for 20 lb blanket with the duvet cover. While this is still a good deal, there are more affordable options out there. I really enjoyed my time with the Honeybird.
